AEW star Kyle Fletcher shockingly backstabbed his former teammate Will Ospreay a few weeks ago. After the betrayal, there is a chance that Don Callis might recruit a six-foot-four-inch star to his stable. The name in question is Mark Davis.
At WrestleDream 2024, The Aerial Assassin put his AEW International Championship on the line against Ricochet and Konosuke Takeshita in a three-way match. In the bout's final stages, The Protostar caused a distraction and attacked Ospreay, allowing Takeshita to become the new champion.
Will Ospreay left the Don Callis Family in June 2024 but still had an implicit alliance with the stable. At WrestleDream, Callis and his allies officially cut ties with The Commonwealth Kingpin by costing him his championship. Since Ospreay is gone from the group, the Canadian veteran might recruit Kyle Flecter's former Aussie Open tag team partner, Mark Davis.

It should be noted that Davis is currently on the shelf due to a wrist injury he suffered at WrestleDream 2023. There is no update on his return as of now. However, he could still join the Don Callis Family as Ospreay's replacement upon his comeback.
Kyle Fletcher explained why he betrayed Will Ospreay at AEW WrestleDream
Last week on AEW Dynamite, Kyle Fletcher had an in-ring segment where he disclosed the reason behind betraying Will Ospreay. The Protostar said he had been compared with Ospreay his entire career.
The former ROH World TV Champion said even when they were stablemates, fans thought of him as another Ospreay and not Kyle Fletcher. He added that he wanted to remove everything that reminded fans of The Aerial Assassin. Hence, Fletcher shaved his head on live television to prove his point.
Later in a backstage segment, Fletcher revealed his new bald look, shocking viewers worldwide. It will be interesting to see what's next in the compelling feud between The Protostar and The Aerial Assassin.
