AEW Worlds End 2024 is right around the corner, and a lot is at stake. The two big titles are on the line, and fans could have new champions at the end of the show.
In addition, the Continental Classic will pit some of the best wrestlers against each other for the chance to become the new Continental Champion. Some fan favorites may also make a comeback after a long absence.
In this article, we will take a look at five predictions for AEW Worlds End.
#5. Adam Copeland could return and have an open challenge
Adam Copeland has been away from in-ring action ever since he fractured his leg in his match against Malakai Black at Double or Nothing. Since then, he has been pretty quiet on the comeback front, with many fans still guessing what his next move could be.
We did see some pictures of him training over the last few months, and that can only mean that he is slowly building up his fitness. If he has regained full fitness, then he can make a comeback and have an open challenge, laying the path for him to return to the top.
#4. Bryan Danielson could cost Jon Moxley
Since turning heel and becoming World Champion, Jon Moxley has been running riot in AEW. He has left a trail of destruction in his wake, and one of the victims is Bryan Danielson.
Danielson was forced into retirement after WrestleDream and has stayed quiet since then. He will, however, want to get his revenge on Moxley, and the best way for him to get that would be to show up in the main event and cost Moxley the title as he will be involved in a four-way match against Orange Cassidy, Jay White and "Hangman" Adam Page.
#3. Big Boom AJ could help Adam Cole
Adam Cole and MJF will be taking on each other for the Dynamite Diamond Ring in what appears to be a grudge match at AEW Worlds End. The two stars have been itching to get their hands on each other for nearly a year, and it is about time.
MJF was confronted by Big Boom AJ over the weekend, and he could show up once again to cost him the match and help Cole win.
#2. Ricochet could win the Continental Classic
Ricochet has been relegated to the mid-card after a great debut in AEW. Although he had some good matches, his momentum has stalled.
The Continental Classic is a good way for him to build up some steam and stake a claim to become one of the top stars. There is a very good chance that he will win the competition and become the new Continental Champion.
#1. Powerhouse Hobbs could win the AEW International Title
Powerhouse Hobbs has gone through a lot over the years. The momentum that he had early in the year was derailed after he got injured in his match against Jon Moxley in April.
He recently returned and will now be taking on Konosuke Takeshita for the International Title. A win against the Japanese star will elevate Hobbs to the main event scene again and bring some freshness to his character.
