#4. AEW star Kris Statlander is looking to make it big in the company
At All Out 2021, Kris Statlander challenged and failed to win against Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. for the AEW Women’s Championship. But has continued to impress fans with her in-ring work in the company.
Statlander was signed by AEW in December 2019 - a month after she competed in her first match for the promotion and has quite a bit of success. What many fans may not know is that Statlander once competed, unsuccessful, in WWE.

#3. Serena Deeb became popular during her short stint with WWE
Serena Deeb is one of the more recognizable former WWE Superstars competing in AEW today. Serena became part of WWE back in 2005 and competed at Ohio Valley Wrestling for a couple of years.
She officially joined WWE in 2009 and joined The Straight Edge Society to work with CM Punk in 2010. She only competed in one match before being released by the company the very same year.
Serena returned to WWE to, unsuccesfully, compete in the 2017 Mae Young Classic. She is now part of AEW where she has competed in a few good matches.
Serena also defended her NWA Women’s Championship on AEW before losing the title. She is among the top competitors working in AEW today.
