A former champion in AEW could split from his current alliance to join The Hurt Syndicate as the fourth member of the faction. The star has teased joining the group on multiple occasions.

Several weeks ago, MVP made his AEW debut and later formed The Hurt Syndicate after the respective debuts of Shelton Benjamin and Bobby Lashley. Meanwhile, MVP has been looking for a fourth member of the group as well. The former champion in question, Max Caster, could be the fourth man in the faction.

The former AEW World Tag Team Champion has been a part of The Acclaimed alongside Anthony Bowens for years. However, Max Caster and Bowens were recently confronted by MVP, Bobby Lashley, and Shelton Benjamin where MVP revealed Caster still has his business card despite him refusing to join The Syndicate.

Furthermore, Max Caster was also looking interested in MVP's offer during the backstage segment two weeks ago on Collision before Bowens pulled him aside. Assuming Caster is still considering MVP's offer, he could eventually betray Anthony Bowens, breaking their long-term friendship to join The Syndicate.

The Acclaimed is set to challenge for the AEW World Tag Titles in a four-way match at Full Gear this weekend. If Caster and Bowens fail to capture the titles, Caster could very well turn his back on Bowens.

A major member of The Hurt Syndicate is set for his AEW in-ring debut

Following his AEW debut, MVP tried to recruit Swerve Strickland into The Hurt Syndicate but he rejected their offer. Swerve later defeated Shelton Benjamin on Dynamite a few weeks ago before he was confronted by a debuting Syndicate member, Bobby Lashley. Bobby is slated for his All Elite in-ring debut in a match against Swerve at Full Gear this Saturday.

Moreover, Lashley has assaulted Swerve on multiple occasions. It remains to be seen what transpires between the two this weekend.
