Mercedes Mone's title reign might be in jeopardy as a former WWE champion might return to AEW and steal her TBS Championship. The star in question is Saraya.

The Glampire and The CEO are former WWE stars who worked as Paige and Sasha Banks, respectively, in the Stamford-based promotion. The two used to be bitter rivals in the sports entertainment juggernaut and delivered some great matches to pro wrestling fans.

Saraya hasn't been active inside the ring since October this year. Her last match took place on an episode of Dynamite, where she wrestled in an AEW Women's World Title number one contendership four-way bout. The high-stakes contest also featured Willow Nightingale, Jamie Hayter, and Nyla Rose. Nightingale reigned supreme in the end.

On AEW Dynamite: Holiday Bash, Mercedes Mone will defend her TBS Championship against Anna Jay. The former WWE Divas Champion could return on the show and cost The CEO the title by helping Jay.

Saraya and Jay briefly worked together on the June 19 episode of Dynamite against Toni Storm, Mariah May, and Mina Shirakawa. If The Anti-Diva interferes in Mone's match against Jay, it could allow AEW to revisit the iconic WWE rivalry.

Mercedes Mone spotted with new look

Mercedes Mone was recently spotted with a bold look. In one of her recent livestreams, she showed off her new hairstyle. The CEO also revealed that she was inspired by WWE star Cora Jade.

“You guys like my hair? I think I got some Cora Jade action going on,” she said.

Cora Jade is a WWE star who performs for the company's developmental brand, NXT. She is a former WWE NXT Women's Tag Team Champion with Roxanne Perez. Before joining the global juggernaut, Jade wrestled a couple of matches for AEW as Elayna Black.
