The Young Bucks are the reigning World Tag Team Champions in AEW. But their run might soon come to an end. Former WWE RAW Tag Team Champions The Hardy Boyz might return to dethrone them.
Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy spent a couple of years in Tony Khan's promotion. After underwhelming runs as both a tag team and individuals, both the brothers decided to leave the promotion earlier this year. They are currently working in TNA.
The Hardy Boys may have departed the All Elite promotion, but are open to returning for another run. In a recent edition of the Extreme Life of Matt Hardy podcast, The Sensei of Mattitude stated that there is a possibility he and his brother might come back to the Jacksonville-based company.
"As far as going to WWE or AEW, it’s a never-say-never scenario in my world. In the extreme life of Matt Hardy, it’s a never-say-never. You never rule anything out. You never close any doors on anything. You do your best, you keep your chin up, you keep moving forward, and try to speak as honestly and as transparently as possible," Matt said.

The duo had a lackluster run in All Elite Wrestling Therefore, if they return to the company for another stint they might target The Young Bucks for the World Tag Team Championship to put themselves in the limelight. Given their legendary status and careers, they could even beat The EVPs and win the gold.
