AEW Worlds End 2024 is right around the corner and the show is shaping up to be a great one so far. There are a lot of matches that will catch the imagination of fans worldwide and will have ramifications for the company moving forward.
Jon Moxley and the Death Riders are on roll and will look to keep their momentum going while the likes of Ricochet will look to break out of the mid card and become a main event star. A lot is at stake and will certainly excite the fans.
In this article, we will take a look at five bold predictions for AEW Worlds End 2024.
New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE
#5. Adam Cole to defeat MJF
MJF and Adam Cole have been at war ever since they split at the same event last year. Cole revealed himself to The Devil and turned on MJF as Samoa Joe became the new AEW World Champion.
A lot has changed since then and the two men will finally have a chance to get their hands on each other. It has been a long time coming and given the momentum that Cole seems to have, it is more than likely that he will pick up the win.
#4. Bryan Danielson to cost Jon Moxley the title
Jon Moxley will be putting his AEW World Title on the line against Orange Cassidy, Hangman Adam Page, and Jay White in a four-way match. This match will not be advantageous to the former WWE star and he should be on guard.
Bryan Danielson recently showed up at the All In press conference and hinted that he might make a comeback while not revealing how he would do it. It would not surprise anyone if he showed up at the event and got his revenge by costing Jon Moxley the title and in doing so, help one of his opponents become the new world champion.
#3. Adam Copeland to make his comeback
Adam Copeland has been away since injuring himself in his match against Malakai Black at AEW Double or Nothing. He fractured his tibia and has been rehabbing since.
However, there have been hints that he could make a comeback anytime and if he is fit, the former WWE star could make a comeback at the pay-per-view event. In doing so, he could lay down a challenge for the roster in his bid to make his way back to the top once again.
#2. Shane McMahon to debut
If there is one name that has to make his debut at the show, it is Shane McMahon. His name took the internet by storm when he was spotted with Tony Khan and many thought he would show up in AEW soon.
However, that has not materialised yet and given that Worlds End is the Jacksonville-based promotion's final show of the year, if he has signed up with the company, then he has to show up at the event.
#1. Ricochet to win AEW Continental Classic
Ricochet came to AEW amid a lot of fanfare. When he showed up at All In for the gauntlet match, a lot of fans expected that he would be pushed as a top star.
However, that has not happened since and it has kept him in the mid card. Given that he has so much talent, he should be winning the Continental Classic and get his hand on the Continental Championship. His profile is sure to raise, with the title in hand, as he enters a new year with AEW.
