MJF vs Chris Jericho at AEW All Out
MJF and Chris Jericho clobbered each other and went for takedowns as MJF looked to continue his unbeaten AEW streak over Jericho. Jericho got the better of the early exchange and went for the Walls of Jericho but MJF countered with a roll-up. Jericho rolled outside as both men wrestled into the crowd.
MJF countered a baseball slide dropkick by trapping the Demo God at ringside. MJF locked in the armbar targeting Jericho's shoulder before dropping Le Champion with a vertical suplex onto his shoulder. MJF went for another suplex but Jericho countered with a snap suplex of his own.
Jericho chopped MJF and took him down with a bulldog and a backbreaker. MJF stomped on Jericho's arm again, before tossing him in the corner with a judo throw. MJF chopped Jericho and mocked Ric Flair by doing his signature walk. Jericho dodged a moonsault from MJF on the outside and planted him with a powerbomb on the apron.
The inaugural AEW world champion went to the top rope but MJF caught him with a codebreaker for a nearfall. MJF clutched his lower back as Jericho tried to turn him for the Walls of Jericho. The former AEW world champion connected with the Lionsault for a nearfall. Jericho struck MJF with 10 lariats in the corner.
MJF but a huge Liger bomb off the top rope but his back gave away and he couldn't go for the cover immediately. Late cover only got him a nearfall. Jericho hit a codebreaker off the top rope but MJF kicked out at the last second. Wardlow tried to interfere but Jake Hager stopped him in his tracks. MJF used the distraction to retrieve Floyd, Jericho's baseball bat and hit Jericho with the Judas Effect.
MJF went for the cover and got a pinfall victory, although Jericho had his foot on the lower rope. However, Aubrey Edwards missed it and called for the bell. Edwards was informed of the error and the match was restarted.
Jericho went for the roll-up but MJF kicked out. MJF locked in the armbar but Jericho powered out and went for the Walls of Jericho, finally succeeding. MJF tapped out to a huge pop from the AEW crowd, prolonging Jericho's in-ring career in AEW.
