Christian Cage vs Kenny Omega for the AEW World Championship at All Out
In the AEW All Out main event, Kenny Omega immediately went for a V-Trigger but Christian Cage dodged it and tried for a Killswitch, the move that got him the win at AEW Rampage. Omega and Christian went outside as Captain Charisma launched the Belt Collector into the barricade. Christian dropped Omega on the outside with a top rope splash.
Omega regained momentum and launched Christian over the steps. He placed a ladder on the IMPACT Wrestling world champion and stomped on him. Don Callis helped Omega set up another table and Omega went for a suplex on the table. Christian countered with a suplex of his own and rolled Omega into the ring and chopped his chest.
The Cleaner avoided a Cloverleaf and hit a slingblade for a two-count. Omega stalked Christian and wore him down in the corner. Christian was perched on the top rope but Omega shoved him to the apron and onto the floor. The Best Bout Machine hit a moonsault off the barricade and rolled Christian back inside the ring. The AEW world champion slapped Christian and sent him chest-first into the turnbuckle.
Omega dropped Christian with an ushigoroshi for a nearfall and went to the top rope. Christian scuppered whatever Omega had in mind and executed a hurricanrana from the top rope. Christian tried to lock in the Cloverleaf again but Omega kicked him away into the turnbuckle.
Omega had Christian on his shoulders but Christian countered with a reverse DDT. Christian went for a spear but Omega struck him in the face with his knee. Christian hit a tornado DDT off the top rope but Omega kicked out at two. Christian positioned himself for the Killswitch but Omega countered with a swinging kick to the head. Omega hit the first V-Trigger of the match and followed it up with consecutive snapdragon suplexes.
Christian flipped off the AEW world champion and Omega responded with another snapdragon suplex and a V-Trigger. Omega went for a German suplex from the apron to the table on the outside, but Christian escaped.
Omega then went for a One-Winged Angel but Christian powered out and delivered a spear off the apron and through the table. Inside the ring, Christian hit two spears but Omega kicked out at the last moment to preserve his AEW World Championship.
Christian went for a frog splash but Omega got his knees up. Omega tried to plant Christian with a gut-wrench powerbomb but his back gave away, forcing him to knee Christian in the face constantly. Omega hit a rib-cord V-Trigger and tried for the Tiger Driver. Christian countered and finally locked in the Cloverleaf. Don Callis called for backup as the Good Brothers ran out to help their fellow Elite member.
Doc Gallows held Christian against the rope but Christian moved out of the way as Omega hit his own teammate with the V-Trigger. Christian went for the Killswitch from the top rope but Omega reversed it with a middle rope One-Winged Angel to get the win, retain the AEW World Championship and hand Christian Cage his first loss in AEW.
