2. John Morrison vs The Young Bucks

The Young Bucks are arguably one of the best duos in wrestling today, perhaps even the best. Their style is very similar to John Morrison's, and a clash is bound to happen. Morrison walking into a huge crowd pop would irk most of the egotistical of wrestlers, especially the the Young Bucks.

John Morrison's various kicks versus one of the Young Bucks? This is a borderline dream match and could be done well if booked correctly. Morrison's skills in the ring and as a fighter have hardly been put in the spotlight. Younger fans might not know what Morrison is capable of, and the Bucks could surely bring the best out of him.

Teaming up would be very unlikely. The Elite won't easily add a 42 year old wrestler to their stable. Because of this, it's far more likely to see them going up against each other. John Morrison could even team up with another wrestler to take them down, resulting in a four-way superkick battle.

Regardless of which side we end up seeing the wrestlers on, John Morrison and the Young Bucks would be explosive in the same ring.

1.John Morrison vs Ricky Starks

Ricky Starks is one of the most promising wrestlers in AEW today. His pose at the top of the ramp is very reminiscent of John Morrison's slow motion pose in WWE. The two could have an interesting back and forth or even a mentorship.

Starks has been very quiet recently, recovering from a nasty neck injury that nearly ended his career. As soon as he recovers he needs to get into a good feud with an established wrestler. If John Morrison debuts at AEW, he could be the perfect established wrestler for Starks to feud with.

John Morrison could be the victim of a brutal attack by Starks and Team Taz. A handful of amazing matches between Starks and Morrison could follow.

Morrison could push Starks to pull out moves we haven't seen the young wrestler do in the ring before. Every match could be a valuable experience for Starks and we could see the wrestler grow with every match.

Alternatively, and most unlikely, would be Morrison taking Starks under his wing. Ricky Starks is aggressively loyal to Tazz so this might not ever happen, but it could be a fantastic thing to see on screen.

If John Morrison debuts in AEW it will make for an interesting new chapter in his life. Being released at this stage and so shortly after his wife's release must be a huge blow. Hopefully AEW picks him up and we can see some of these fantastic matches soon.
