The Salt of the Earth might not have walked away victorious, but he pushed Moxley to his limits. Friedman's bodyguard, Wardlow, tried to interfere on numerous occasions but couldn't turn the tide.

Regardless of the usual MJF run-and-gun attacks, Moxley didn't back down and Friedman began bleeding quickly.
In the later stages of the match, both men ended up on their knees. They fiercely traded slaps, punches, and headbutts. MJF would hit the Champion with a low blow, nearly picking up the win. But in the scuffle, Moxley pulled off a Paradigm Shift and got the pinfall.
4. Dean Ambrose: The Miz - numerous times in 2017
During Dean Ambrose's 2017 WWE Intercontinental Championship run, he had a lengthy feud with The Miz.
The Twenty-Fifth Triple Crown Champion held the Intercontinental Championship numerous times and was looking to add another notch to his record. While the two wrested each other quite a number of times, Ambrose defeated The Miz 23 times in 2017.
It's safe to say that none of the losses helped the 41 year old star's ego and only elevated Ambrose as a singles star.
