Jon Moxley and his faction, The Death Riders, currently rule AEW with an iron fist. Ever since the group came into existence, it has been wreaking havoc. Furthermore, Moxley is the reigning World Champion, while Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, and PAC are World Trios Champions.
At the recently concluded Worlds End pay-per-view, Moxley retained his gold in a four-way match against Orange Cassidy, "Hangman" Adam Page, and Jay White. Interestingly, on the same show, Kenny Omega made his return. The Best Bout Machine was sidelined since December 2023 due to diverticulitis. He could now fall victim to The Death Riders and go on another hiatus.
Not only is Omega one of the greatest professional wrestlers of all time, but he is also the executive vice president of All Elite Wrestling. However, the 41-year-old must watch his back because nobody in the locker room is safe in The Death Riders' presence.

In the past, the Moxley-led group has tried to attack The Young Bucks, who are AEW EVPs as well. A potential beatdown angle could ultimately lead to the former AEW World Champion joining the faction or locking horns with The Purveyor of Violence for the gold.
AEW star Kenny Omega to battle Gabe Kidd at Wrestle Dynasty
Kenny Omega will lock horns with NJPW star Gabe Kidd at Wrestle Dynasty. This will be Omega's first match since December 2023.
Besides this showdown, the pay-per-view will feature high-profile matches such as Mercedes Moné vs. Mina Shirakawa in a Winner Takes All bout for the Strong Women's Championship and the Undisputed British Women's Championship, Zack Sabre Jr. vs. Ricochet, Yota Tsuji vs. Jack Perry, and more. Wrestle Dynasty will take place on January 5, 2025, in Tokyo, Japan.
