AEW has a nice lineup of matches set for next week's Dynamite: Maximum Carnage. Jon Moxley is set to put his World Title on the line against Powerhouse Hobbs and Kenny Omega is set to make his return to the ring in All Elite Wrestling.

#4. Jon Moxley beats Powerhouse Hobbs; Christian Cage cashes in to become the new AEW World Champion

Powerhouse Hobbs shocked everyone by winning the Casino Gauntlet on this week's episode of Dynamite. He earned a shot at the AEW World Championship and is set to take on Jon Moxley at next week's Dynamite: Maximum Carnage.

The match is certainly going to be hard-hitting and Hobbs will put on a powerful display throughout the bout. However, we're sure that Moxley will ultimately pick up the win either by himself or with the help of The Death Riders.

However, that might not be where the story ends as Christian Cage would cash in on Jon Moxley after he's exhausted from his title defense. Cage could certainly walk away with the AEW World Championship as the show ends.

#3. Kenny Omega dominates and gets attacked by Kazuchika Okada and The Elite after the match

Kenny Omega is officially set to return to the ring for the first time since his return to All Elite Wrestling. The Best Bout Machine is set to take on Brian Cage next week on Dynamite: Maximum Carnage.

We can expect that The Cleaner will surely get a dominant display against the powerful Brian Cage to showcase his superior ability. We also expect him to go over Cage as well to build him up more for his upcoming feud against Kazuchika Okada.

Speaking of Okada, due to his storied rival with Omega, The Rainmaker will surely look to send a message by attacking The Cleaner along with The Elite. Kazuchika has been brash about beating Kenny before and will look to prove it once again with this attack.

#2. Kris Statlander wins the Casino Gauntlet Match

Kris Statlander has won a golden ticket for the Casino Gauntlet match that's set to take place next week on Dynamite: Maximum Carnage. She took on Willow Nightingale and the inexperienced rookie, Toni Storm in a three-way match for the number 1 spot in the Casino Gauntlet match.

Statlander put away Storm for the win and will now open the Casino Gauntlet match and look to win against all her opponents next week. We expect Tony Khan to book her as the victor at Maximum Carnage next week following her recent impressive performances in the ring, namely her match against Mercedes Mone at AEW Worlds End 2024.

#1. Hook defeats Christian Cage with Taz's help to end their feud

Hook has been out for Christian Cage's blood ever since the latter, along with The Patriarchy, attacked his father Taz. The two stars are now set to battle it out in the ring against each other at AEW Dynamite: Maximum Carnage next week.

Even, though Cage has an upper hand on Hook due to The Patriarchy being an ever-looming threat in the match, we predict Hook to take the win. The young star could pull this win off by enlisting his father to make a surprise return to even the odds against all of The Patriarchy and finally have him end Christian Cage for good.

This win over Cage would finally put an end to their feud and would also be a pleasant moment for the fans, seeing Hook and Taz celebrate if the latter returns.
