Jon Moxley might retire WWE Hall of Famer Jeff Jarrett from AEW. The latter stated he was in his final run with the Jacksonville-based promotion.
The Last Outlaw Jeff Jarrett announced his retirement on this week's episode of AEW Dynamite: Fight for the Fallen. He stated that he has re-signed with Tony Khan's company, although it will be his final run with AEW, after which he'll hang up his wrestling boots.
Double J also added that he wanted to win gold in the company before he retired. He didn't want any belt but the biggest price the company had to offer - the AEW World Champion. Therefore, he enrolled himself in the casino gauntlet battle royal match next week on Dynamite which would guarantee the winner a shot at the AEW World Championship.
Jeff Jarrett could win the gauntlet match and challenge Moxley for his title. Since AEW is building a long-term storyline, it is highly unlikely that Tony Khan will dethrone The One True King anytime soon. Therefore, if the Mox vs. Jarrett match happens, the former could win and force the latter to retire.

Adam Copeland might be Jon Moxley's next opponent
Adam Copeland returned to action at AEW Worlds End 2024 after being on a hiatus for months due to a broken tibia he sustained at 2024 Double or Nothing. He confronted The Purveyor of Violence during his return and attacked the World Champion while his FTR buddies, Cash Wheeler, and Dax Harwood took down The Death Riders.
This week on AEW Dynamite: Fight for the Fallen, Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, and Wheeler Yuta took on Adam Copeland and The FTR and suffered an embarrassing loss. Copeland has made it very clear with his actions that he has returned to take down Jon Moxley's empire and is eyeing the AEW World Championship.
