Jon Moxley has found himself in a pickle as he has been attacked from all sides by his three challengers at Worlds End. With his title in jeopardy tomorrow night, could he bring out a secret weapon to be by his side?
There have been a lot of questions surrounding The Elite. The Young Bucks and Jack Perry have been focused on their respective matches at Wrestle Dynasty while Kazuchika Okada has been busy with the Continental Classic. It seems as if they are not united as a faction anymore, with Perry even expressing recently that he felt as if The Bucks have not had his back.
This may lead The Scapegoat to exit the group and join another faction where he might be more appreciated. Jon Moxley had previously expressed back in September how he thought highly of Jack Perry despite all the controversy. This may be a hint at a long-term move of working with him, seeing as they both have a shared goal in shaping AEW as they wished.
All of Mox's competitors have allies of their own, with Orange Cassidy having The Conglomeration, Jay White having the Bang Bang Gang, and Hangman Page possibly finding an ally in Christopher Daniels. He may need all the backup he needs, and adding Perry to his ranks alongside the current Death Riders would certainly benefit him.
Adam Cole sees Jon Moxley as "danger'
Over the last few months, Jon Moxley has taken over AEW, and he and his Death Riders have been running amok, taking out everyone in their way. While many have turned a blind eye, there have been some who wished to defend their company and attempted to fight back against the faction.
Adam Cole was someone who tried to come to Bryan Danielson's aid when Mox and the group were taking him out at WrestleDream, but he has yet to directly confront them.
While speaking on Going Ringside, Cole talked about how he associated Mox with the word "danger." He acknowledged the passion that he showed and mentioned how he was looking laser-focused, and someone difficult to stop.
“When I do think of Moxley, I think of danger,” Adam Cole said. “And right now, Moxley is in such an interesting position, where it’s maybe the most passionate I’ve ever seen him. He clearly has a vision for where he wants things to go, where he wants to go, and where AEW wants to go. And when Moxley is this laser-focused, I don’t know if he could be stopped right now.” [H/T - Wrestlezone]
Jon Moxley seems to be someone with a goal, and is willing to do everything to achieve this. At Worlds End, who knows what he'll pull off just to stay the world champion.
