The AEW WrestleDream PPV had a shocking end which saw Bryan Danielson carried out on a stretcher. This week's Dynamite episode will be intense as fans will witness the fallout of Saturday's PPV.

Matches featuring top stars like Mercedes Mone, Jay White, and Christian Cage have already been announced on social media. It will be interesting to see what else the fallout edition of WrestleDream might bring this week.

Here are five things that we think could happen on AEW's flagship show on Wednesday:

Corey Graves deleted his Tweet! More details HERE.

#5 Darby Allin could become Jon Moxley's new victim

Jon Moxley made history at WrestleDream by defeating Bryan Danielson for the AEW World Championship. He became the only four-time World Champion in AEW. Saturday's PPV ended with The American Dragon getting mauled by the Blackpool Combat Club and the former being taken out of the arena on a stretcher.

As the BCC decimated Bryan, Darby Allin was forced to watch. In the upcoming episode, Allin might want revenge for Saturday but end up falling prey to Mox and company.

#4 PowerHouse Hobbs could return to AEW TV

The last time fans saw Powerhouse Hobbs in AEW was in April 2024 on Dynamite where he lost a match against Jon Moxley for the IWGP World Heavyweight Title. Since then he has been out of action due to a knee injury.

Last month, Fightful reported that he has been cleared to wrestle and is very close to a comeback. At the All Out media scrum, Tony Khan also addressed his return and stated that he would be excited to have him back. The AEW President didn't provide an exact date for his comeback, but it could happen at Dynamite this week.

#3 Lio Rush might join The Hurt Syndicate

Lio Rush was present backstage at WrestleDream where he revealed that he had signed with AEW. His interview was rudely interrupted by Shelton Benjamin and MVP, who challenged him to a match against The Gold Standard at Dynamite this week.

The upcoming match might see Swerve Strickland (who was being manipulated by The Franchise Playa to ditch Prince Nana and join his stable) get involved. This could prompt Rush to turn heel and join The Hurt Syndicate.

#2 Julia Hart could return and confront Mercedes Mone

Julia Hart hasn't been seen in AEW since she dropped the TBS Championship to Willow Nightingale at Dynasty. She has been dealing with an arm injury, hence the absence from TV.

But recent reports have suggested that she might make her return soon. Her House of Black stablemate Brody King also spoke about her return in a recent interview with Stephanie Chase.

“I think we should be seeing her very soon. She’s been dropping hints here and there. I think she’s ready to come back for her title,” Brody said.

This week's Dynamite episode could see The Princess of the Black Throne return and confront TBS Champion Mercedes Mone. The CEO has a match against Queen Aminata on Wednesday.

#1 Jay White might defeat Christian Cage

At WrestleDream, Jay White secured a big win over Hangman Page, who had cost him the Owen Hart Tournament Cup. Now that he's gotten revenge on Page, he has shifted his attention to Christian Cage, the second person to cost him the tournament.

This week's Dynamite episode will feature a singles match between Jay White and Christian Cage. The former successfully avenged himself against Page and might do the same on Wednesday by defeating Cage.
