Top stars like Mark Henry, Jeff Hardy, Matt Hardy, CJ Perry, and many more left AEW this year. Danhausen could join the list of stars departing from the Jacksonville-based company in 2025.

Fightful Select recently reported that Tony Khan's promotion and Kid Gorgeous haven't been in contact for over six months apart from independent bookings approval. He was supposed to return to TV last year after an injury, but it never happened.

All Elite Wrestling had planned to bring him back on television but the company was under the impression that he was unwilling to work on Collision on Saturdays. He rather preferred to work in the independent circuit. According to him, however, his unavailability was due to family-related reasons.

The report also highlighted that Danhausen was frustrated with his condition in AEW. His contract is set to run until Summer next year. If he continues to be absent from TV, then he might quietly part ways with the promotion after his deal ends in 2025.

Very Nice Very Evil last wrestled in the Jacksonville-based company at World's End in December 2023. He participated in the AEW TNT Title Right to Challenge Anytime, Anywhere Battle Royal. The bout was won by Killswitch.

Danhausen seemingly breaks silence after reports on AEW conflict surfaces

After Fightful released the report on Danhausen, the absent star went onto X/Twitter to share a cryptic tweet. He posted a bunch of pictures of his dog ripping apart a doll, which looked very much like him. He didn't caption the images on his post.

While Danhausen has been absent from All Elite programming since last year, he has been fairly active in the independent circuits. His last match took place on November 16, when he defeated Caleb Konley in a singles match at ASW War Games at Madison Civic Center in Madison, West Virginia.
