A major AEW star could turn babyface at the upcoming Full Gear 2024 Pay-Per-View by costing Jon Moxley the AEW World Championship at the event. The turn has been hinted at multiple times now.
Jon Moxley is slated to defend his AEW World Championship against Orange Cassidy at the upcoming Full Gear Pay-Per-View, as the latter issued a challenge last Wednesday. While many fans are expecting Mox to retain his title at the event, the major star in question, Wheeler Yuta, could cost Jon the title and turn babyface in the process.
Wheeler Yuta surprisingly turned against his mentor, Bryan Danielson, formerly known as Daniel Bryan, at the WrestleDream 2024 Pay-Per-View after The American Dragon lost the AEW World Championship to Moxley. Yuta also choked Bryan out with a plastic bag. However, this past Wednesday on AEW Dynamite, Jon and the rest of the Blackpool Combat Club almost attacked Yuta to lure Orange Cassidy into the ring.

However, Yuta did not realize that he was being used and stayed with the Blackpool Combat Club. During a recent episode of Collision, Cassidy showed up and reminded Wheeler Yuta of his old self and tried to convince him that Moxley was using him. Cassidy also vowed to bring back the old Yuta by ending Mox's dominance at Full Gear 2024.

The Freshly Squeezed teasing bringing back the old Yuta hints at the possibility of the latter turning babyface eventually. Hence, Wheeler could cost Moxley the AEW World Championship in the main event of Full Gear 2024 to bring his old persona back.
Jon Moxley forced Wheeler Yuta to attack his rival on AEW Collision
As mentioned above, Orange Cassidy tried to convince Wheeler Yuta that Jon Moxley and the rest of the Blackpool Combat Club have been using him. However, the convincing did not work as Mox ordered Yuta to attack Cassidy with a steel chair and slapped him when he refused as well. Nevertheless, the Freshly Squeezed took care of Yuta in between the crowd and took him out.
The Blackpool Combat Club tried to catch Cassidy in the crowd but the latter was too fast. It remains to be seen if the 40-year-old star could capture the AEW World Championship at Full Gear 2024.
