The Death Riders have been a menace in AEW. The Jon Moxley-led faction has been raising hell ever since they turned heel on Bryan Danielson and it looks like they are here to stay.
Despite how well they have been doing, there is always a chink in the armor and that may have been exposed over the last week. Adam Copeland showed up at the end of Worlds End and confronted Moxley and essentially laid out a challenge for his world title.
That may have caused a slight bit of friction in the group. In this article, we will take a look at four signs the Death Riders will break up in the first half of 2025.

#4. Jon Moxley showing signs of insecurity
Jon Moxley is a very insecure man. Even though he is seen as an alpha personality, his behavior when taking out Bryan Danielson spoke volumes about the man. It showed fans that underneath the tough exterior he portrays, there is a fragile personality.
With Copeland back in the mix, things will only get worse for Moxley and it might expose his insecurities once again. That could be the key to the breakup of the Death Riders.
#3. Wheeler Yuta getting kicked out
Wheeler Yuta has been with the Death Riders ever since the beginning. In fact, he even pledged his allegiance to Jon Moxley by taking out his idol Bryan Danielson and forcing him into an early retirement.
However, he has been the weak link in the faction and there is only so much that Moxley can take when it comes to not being successful. If Yuta continues to lose matches, then that could very well mean that he gets kicked out of the faction. This might set in motion the beginning of the end for the Death Riders.
#2. Cope playing mind games
If there is anyone in wrestling who is the master of mind games, it is WWE Hall of Famer Cope. He has been at the top of his game when it comes to playing mind games ever since his time in WWE.
With him back at the helm and making his intentions clear of going after Moxley and his title, he will leave no stone unturned when it comes to using any devious plan to play mind games with Moxley. That could in turn affect Jon and might lead to the eventual breakup of the faction.
#1. The return of Bryan Danielson might end the Death Riders
The Death Riders were instrumental in forcing Bryan Danielson into an early retirement. When it comes to The American Dragon, it feels like there is an unfinished story that is yet to play out.
The return of Bryan Danielson will no doubt throw a spanner in the works for Jon Moxley's faction and will force them to retreat. Bryan can form a team with the explicit aim of taking down Moxley and his group. This would even let him play the mentor of the stars looking to destroy the Death Riders.
Even worse, it might even end the faction for good, allowing the stars to go their own way.
