AEW is set to present its sixth annual Full Gear pay-per-view in just over one week. The big event will see Mercedes Moné make her tenth defense of the TBS Championship since dethroning Willow Nightingale at Double Or Nothing in late May. There's now increased speculation on a potential major swerve at Full Gear, which could leave Moné without one of her championships.
The CEO will work her fifth All Elite Wrestling pay-per-view on November 23 when she defends at Full Gear against Kris Statlander, who is arguably one of Moné's toughest opponents since leaving WWE. This will be another first-time-ever bout for Statlander. Moné is set to be cornered by her hired muscle, Kamille, who was defeated by Statlander on Dynamite two weeks back. The former NWA World Women's Champion had been on a five-match winning streak since officially becoming All Elite back in the summer.
Tension between The Boss and The Unapproachable One picked up recently when Mercedes blamed Kamille for Statlander getting hit by a car. Moné continued to berate the 31-year-old, but this was just another instance of disrespect as the dual-champion was upset with Kamille for her only AEW loss. After the criticism, this week's Dynamite segment saw Mercedes beg for Kamille's help as Kris approached. The challenger then sent the muscle head-first into a wall before smashing the champion through another wall.

The Brickhouse has been nothing but a dominant heel in her career. There's been some fan chatter on how the former Sasha Banks of WWE needs something new to keep her AEW run moving forward, and while Moné likely will not turn babyface just yet, it's just a matter of time before Kamille walks the tweener line.
Kris Statlander could end up making history at Full Gear by becoming the first-ever two-time AEW TBS Champion. The Blueprint has a lot of uncertainty in her life right now, and Statlander may take advantage to leave Full Gear with championship gold. With the increased heat between Moné and Kamille, combined with the need for a fresh storyline to carry the NJPW Strong Women's Champion into the new year, there are heavy rumors and speculation that we could see Kamille turn on Mercedes.
AEW officials have set up a potential scenario that could be a game-changer and a hot topic of discussion coming out of Full Gear. The door is open for Kamille to turn on Moné just to make her pay for the recent malicious mocking while helping to dethrone the disrespectful champion at the same time. The 32-year-old will then be able to branch out onto her own in AEW and potentially go for Statlander's TBS Championship or the Women's World Championship held by Mariah May.
Statlander was the second TBS Champion after dethroning inaugural champion Jade Cargill at 508 days. Statlander's title run went 174 days, but Moné just now passed that mark in her own reign. Julia Hart held the title for 155 days, while Nightingale was TBS Champion for just 35 days.
