AEW star Miro signed with Tony Khan's promotion in 2020. But he hasn't been seen on TV for a while. The former WWE star who went by the name Rusve was last seen in action at AEW Worlds End PPV in 2023 where he defeated Andrade.

Recently, it was reported that he asked for his release from the company. Miro inked a seven-figure deal with AEW that will expire in 2026. Given the former TNT Champion's popularity in the wrestling world, TK might want to keep him in his company. If and when The Bulgarian Brute returns, it is likely that he doesn't come back alone but along with his ex-wife CJ Perry.

CJ Perry is open to reuniting with Miro on-screen

CJ Perry and the former Rusev were together for more than seven years. They got married in July 2016. However, in late 2023, the couple decided to split on good terms. CJ told TMZ in an interview that she and The bashing Bulgarian have decided to continue their relationship as friends and that she is open to reuniting with him for an on-screen role in the future.

New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE

"Miro and I have made the difficult decision to separate after many wonderful years together, and have decided to move on as friends, and hopefully onscreen characters somewhere down the road," CJ told TMZ.

CJ Perry teased a reunion with Miro

It is Halloween season and CJ Perry recently posted a Halloween-themed skit on her Instagram account. In the post, she teased a reunion with her ex-husband while performing a black magic act with Chucky the doll.

"Is this Lana bringing Rusev back to life?? Or is it Tiffany the Bride of Chucky??? Do you want to see on TV Rusev & Lana or Chucky and his bride Tiffany ???"

Miro had a successful run when CJ Perry was beside him

For the majority of the 38-year-old male star's career in AEW and WWE as well, CJ Perry was seen alongside him as his manager or partner. Rusev and Lana in WWE or Miro and Perry in AEW were a force to be reckoned with.

The Super Athlete hasn't been active since December last year and around the same time, The Ravishing Russian also went on a hiatus following an unknown infection resulting from a splinter injury on her left finger.

Tony Khan could bring back the former AEW TNT Champion along with the 39-year-old female star in AEW because they make for a successful on-screen couple and fans love them. It is to be noted that Perry is no longer with AEW.
