15-time WWE champion wants blockbuster matches against Kenny Omega and Adam Cole; AEW move on the horizon?

A former WWE star has said that he wants to face Kenny Omega and Adam Cole in 2025. This could indicate a potential move to AEW.

Nic Nemeth was a mainstay on the WWE roster for several years. He first started as a member of the Spirit Squad. However, he persevered over the years and finally became a World Champion. Nic was known as one of the best workers in the ring who could pull off any move smoothly. Despite having some great in-ring and mic skills, Nic was never considered a top guy in WWE. His last couple of years left much to be desired and he was released in 2023.

Following his release, Nic Nemeth continued to wrestle in the indies and has featured prominently for TNA Wrestling. Now that he is free from his WWE contract, he has a long list of people he wants to face. A fan asked him on social media what his goals were for 2025. Nic namedropped a list of wrestlers he wants to face next year. Among those were Kenny Omega and Adam Cole.

"Fight: Leon Slater, Jordynne, KC, Omega, Tanahashi (again), Adam Cole & Jeff (tore it up with Matt a lot, already)."

Kenny Omega will make his in-ring return at Wrestle Dynasty

Kenny Omega has been out of action for the past year due to diverticulitis. He took time away from the ring to undergo surgery and recover. He recently made an appearance at NJPW Power Struggle and said that he wanted to return to NJPW at Wrestle Dynasty.

Moments later, he was attacked by Gabe Kidd backstage which kickstarted their feud. Following this assault, Omega challenged Kidd to a match at Wrestle Dynasty. This will be his first match since he faced Ethan Page on the 5 December 2023 episode of Collision. Omega even made an appearance at AEW Worlds End 2024 to hand the Continental Championship belt to Kazuchika Okada.

It will be interesting to see if Nic Nemeth will get his wish and face Kenny Omega in 2025.
