According to a recent report, a 25-year-old star has been banned from the upcoming AEW X NJPW Forbidden Door PPV. The talent in question is Komander.
Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide and CMLL are rival promotions, but Tony Khan found a way to have stars from both wrestlers perform on his shows. Last week, Dave Meltzer stated that Khan had worked out the differences between the two Mexican companies. However, the problem isn't entirely solved.
During a recent episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, Meltzer disclosed that while Rey Fenix is allowed to wrestle at Forbidden Door, Komander doesn't have the same privilege. He is banned from the event.
He also added that the ongoing feud between Maxwell Jacob Friedman (MJF) and Rush was ''always earmarked to be a television feud!''

"Everything isn’t figured out [the AAA/CMLL/AEW relationship]; it’s case-by-case; they allowed Fenix. I don’t know what the CMLL story is with Rush. I don’t know if he is banned from Forbidden Door like Komander, who I know is, or Vikingo, who I know would be. This [MJF vs. Rush] was always earmarked to be a television feud, not a pay-per-view match," he wrote. [H/T: Wrestletalk]
MJF to wrestle his AEW return match against Rush
The Jacksonville-based promotion recently announced that former AEW World Champion MJF's maiden in-ring match following his comeback will be against Rush.
Last week on Dynamite, The Salt of The Earth's comeback party was interrupted by El Toro Blanco. The duo later engaged in a brawl before being separated by security. The recent episode of the Wednesday Night Show saw MJF and Rush take their rivalry to the next level.
The recent episode saw Rush defeat Deonn Rusman in a Squash Match. The 35-year-old launched a post-match attack on Rusman, which forced the former AEW World Champion to take matters into his own hands.
The duo exchanged blows throughout the arena and backstage. The arch-rivals will look to settle scores when they lock horns in a one-on-one encounter next Wednesday.
