A young star just dropped his title to Matt Riddle. He is now reportedly set to work for Tony Khan's promotion in 2025.

BEEF has been turning heads with his performances in recent years. He has primarily wrestled for AAW where he was their World Champion. He has also previously competed in AEW Rampage and ROH. Tonight, the 29-year-old defended his Heavyweight Championship against Matt Riddle and lost. Kevin Kellam who was doing commentary for the show has now confirmed to Sportskeeda Wrestling that BEEF has revealed that he is now "All Elite" and will likely start a deal with ROH in January.

His previous match for the Tony Khan-led Ring of Honor was on November 14 when he teamed with JD Drake to face The Righteous. On November 6, he competed in a taped episode for Rampage against Top Flight. It is still not known when he will make his first appearance for Khan's promotion.

Tony Khan comments on Ricochet's shocking heel turn in AEW

When Ricochet first joined AEW, fans were excited about the possibility of watching him perform in the ring with other notable athletes like Will Ospreay, Kyle Fletcher, Kenny Omega, and others. However, shortly after joining the promotion, the former WWE Superstar has had a change in attitude which has caused fans to boo him mercilessly during his matches. His lack of promo skills has also drawn criticism from fans and critics.

During the AEW Worlds End media call, Sportskeeda Wrestling's Arunava Ghoshal asked Tony Khan about Ricochet's recent change in personality. The company President said that the 36-year-old had taken a few shortcuts but he had found success in the Continental Classic Tournament because of his wrestling. He further added that the high flyer had tapped into the darker side of his personality and was doing great things in the company.

It will be interesting to see BEEF make the switch to ROH and only time will tell whether he can excel in his career under the AEW banner.
