The Hurt Syndicate are on the search for another member to join them and MVP has been handing out business cards. A former WWE champion recently confirmed that he's open to joining them.
Ricochet has been doing well for himself since his debut at All In. He has been picking up wins and has already competed in a few title matches in the promotion. His performances have impressed a lot of people including MVP who offered the high flyer his business card despite their tumultuous history in WWE.
This raised a lot of eyebrows as many people wondered whether Ricochet would take MVP up on his offer. Speaking to Barstool Rasslin, Ricochet talked about the possibility of joining the Hurt Syndicate. He recalled their history in WWE where the group tormented him. He also said that they want what's best for the group. At the same time, he also noted that he could learn a lot from the group and it would be nice for him to be hurting people for a change.
“That’s like a delicate situation because of our past, and literally, they terrorized me throughout the entire pandemic. Yeah, so as much as I feel like they do want what’s best for me, I feel like they want what’s best for me by force. Yeah, and so, but it’s… well, they really want what’s best for them. They want what’s best for them. Isn’t that everybody? It is. It really is. And at the end of the day, you can’t blame them for that, but I do. I think there are some things I could learn from the Hurt Syndicate, but man, it’s maybe how to hurt people. Really, yeah, I’m usually the one getting hurt. So, I bet hurting—doing the hurting—is awesome.” [H/T Ringside News]

MVP issued a statement about The Hurt Syndicate's future in AEW
Since coming together, the Hurt Syndicate has already established dominance. They have been keen to add more members to the group and MVP has been handing out his business cards. He tried to recruit Swerve Strickland but was turned down which led to a storyline feud.
Bobby Lashley faced and defeated Swerve at Full Gear 2024. Last week on Dynamite, MVP stood proudly in the ring as he said that it was foolish to turn down an offer from them. He also said that their mission statement was to win championships for more money and power.
It will be interesting to see when the group will win their first championship in All Elite Wrestling.
