A prominent talent wants a rematch against TBS Champion Mercedes Mone. The star in question is none other than Stephanie Vaquer.

At the Forbidden Door pay-per-view on June 30, Mercedes Mone and Stephanie Vaquer had a Winner Takes All bout. Mone put her TBS Title on the line, whereas Vaquer defended her NJPW Strong Women's Championship. After a hard-fought battle, The CEO successfully became a double champion by defeating the 31-year-old.

In a chat with Emily Mae Heller after the match, Stephanie Vaquer praised Mone but made it clear that she wanted a rematch for the Strong Women's Title.

“I represented the NJPW Strong [Women's] Title all around the world, and I did it with my heart. Today, Mercedes beat me. She’s a great opponent but I’ll learn from my mistake. This is not the last time you see Stephanie Vaquer because I’ll be back and I want my rematch." [H/T: RingsideNews]

Mercedes Mone confirms that she interacted with Shane McMahon at an airport

Shane McMahon has been the talk of the town lately after rumors of his potential AEW arrival surfaced online. Some recent reports also indicated that McMahon had a brief conversation with Mercedes Mone at an airport.

In her recent newsletter, Mone confirmed that she caught up with Shane McMahon at an airport, and the veteran even gave her his contact number.

"After it all, by only the fates aligned – I walked into the airport, was in line by the bagel shop when I suddenly looked up, and there he was, just as surprised as I was. My first day being a double titleholder and the first wrestler and former WWE Superstar I see is [Shane] McMahon…come on, if that isn’t the universe working in divine timing, I don’t know what else it could be."

It will truly be an interesting sight if Shane McMahon does arrive in AEW in the future. However, nothing has been confirmed yet. Tony Khan recently revealed that he would welcome the former champion to his promotion.
