TNA star Josh Alexander has said that he would have to change up his moveset if he joined AEW in the future, as stars like MJF did similar moves. The 37-year-old is set to leave TNA soon.

The veteran recently announced that his TNA contract would expire in February 2025. Josh Alexander's deal was initially supposed to expire in February 2024, but the promotion added the option of a one-year extension to his contract. The two-time TNA World Champion is expected to sign with AEW or WWE in the future.

In a recent chat on INSIGHT with Chris Van Vliet, Josh Alexander spoke about a potential move to AEW. The Walking Weapon said that if he signed with the Jacksonville-based company, he would have to change his moveset, as guys like MJF, Kenny Omega, Will Ospreay, and Kyle Fletcher used similar moves during their matches. The 37-year-old said that he was fine with tweaking up his moveset.

"You just wanna be different. You wanna stand out like I wouldn't wanna do pretty much any move that anybody else does just to make sure I stand out. I know MJF does my powerbomb on the knee. Moves I do, I've seen Kenny [Omega], Will [Ospreay], and some other people do. I think Kyle Fletcher just did it, too. So, like, that would have to change. I think somebody's already doing an ankle lock in AEW. So, I might have to change everything. But I'm ok with that!" he said. [01:16:16-01:16:40]
