AEW has switched up its booking tactics since WrestleDream and is now announcing matches several weeks in advance. Full Gear 2024, which airs on November 23, already had two bouts scheduled, but its Zero Hour pre-show is also taking shape with the addition of QT Marshall vs. "Big Boom" AJ.

AJ is a viral TikTok star and is known as one of the "Costco Guys" on social media. He's been working alongside All Elite Wrestling for the last couple of months and challenged QT Marshall to a match on October 12, and it's now been made official. The two will square off on Full Gear's Zero Hour next month.

QT Marshall returned to the Jacksonville-based promotion as its Vice President of Show and Creative Coordination back in February, but he hasn't been featured as an on-screen talent in more than a year. The former Nightmare Family member took to X to express his excitement over his return to the ring:

"I’m so grateful I was able to convince AJ to step back in the ring…took a lot of persuading But your boy QT is back in an AEW ring! You’re welcome fans!"

QT Marshall doesn't see eye-to-eye with AEW President Tony Khan

QT Marshall signed with All Elite Wrestling in 2019 and often made appearances alongside Cody Rhodes and the Nightmare Family. He's also the co-owner of the Nightmare Factory wrestling school with Rhodes and WCW legend Glacier.

Marshall enjoyed an extended run in the promotion but shockingly announced his resignation late last year. At the time, it was reported that QT wanted to continue performing as an on-screen talent, while Tony Khan valued him more as a backstage presence.

QT returned in February but hasn't set foot in an AEW ring this year. In a recent interview with Gabby AF, he revealed that he doesn't wrestle for the promotion anymore because he and Khan don't see eye-to-eye:

"I don’t wrestle at AEW because we [me and Tony] just never saw eye to eye on the wrestling stuff," Marshall said.

Marshall has been a controversial figure, with many of the company's fans expressing their dislike for his character and in-ring style. Whether he continues to wrestle after his match with "Big Boom" AJ at Full Gear remains to be seen.
