Many professional wrestling veterans such as Jeff Jarrett, Dustin Rhodes, Sting, and more have shown their incredible wrestling skills in AEW. It seems like another veteran, Prince Nana who has been in the promotion as a manager, still has some gas left in the tank.

Prince Nana has been in the business for 20-plus years and has competed in many independent promotions and companies such as WWE, ROH, and more. He debuted in AEW in 2023 and has been the manager of Swerve Strickland.

During a recent K&S WrestleFest Virtual Signing, Prince Nana was asked about his in-ring career. The veteran revealed even though his days in the ring are not behind him, he's leaving the action for up-and-coming talent. Prince Nana last competed in 2019 on the independent circuit.

"They're not, but I leave it for the people trying to get into the business now," he said. [H/T:Fightful]

AEW star Prince Nana on never signing with WWE

Prince Nana is a veteran of professional wrestling. He has competed in promotions such as ROH, WWE, and more. Nana has had several tryouts for the Stamford-based promotion but never inked a deal with the company.

In an appearance on Talk is Jericho in 2023, Prince Nana spoke about his interactions with WWE. He was brought in as a manager and is unsure why WWE never signed him to a deal.

"A lot of interactions, I wrestled Crash Holly at Madison Square Garden, rest in peace to him. It was for a TV taping, Metal. I also worked Steve Blackman. I was there during the WWF era, before they became WWE. In between that, I had different tryouts with the company where they brought me in to tryout as a manager. They know me pretty well. I don't know exactly where I never ended up getting a job there, but I'm a believer in everything happens for a reason. I didn't think that I wouldn't make it in pro wrestling, but thank God everything fell into the place it did because I wouldn't want to be anywhere else but AEW," he said.

We will have to wait and see how long Tony Khan plans on keeping Prince Nana and Swerve Strickland together in All Elite Wrestling.
