Triple H has been proactively searching for great additions to his roster. According to recent reports, Hunter might soon bring two more talented stars to WWE.
The stars would be Motor City Machine Guns. Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin's contract with TNA expired in April. Both WWE and AEW have reportedly shown their interest in signing the legendary tag team.
A few days ago, the Wrestling Observer Newsletter disclosed that The Motor City Machine Guns might choose WWE over Tony Khan's promotion and are expected to head to the Stamford-based promotion soon.
That said, ex-AEW and ROH star Frankie Kazarian recently reacted to the top free agents potentially heading to the Stamford-based company. During a Q&A session on X/Twitter, a fan asked him to comment on Shelley and Sabin possibly joining the global juggernaut.
The 46-year-old star replied by saying, "Immensely proud. Love those dudes like brothers."
EC3 comments on Motor City Machine Guns joining WWE
Alex Shelley, 41, and Chris Sabin, 42 are slightly older than the active roster stars of WWE. This has led fans to question Triple H's decision to sign them instead of younger talents.
Speaking on Sportskeeda's The Wrestling Outlaws, EC3 stated that MCGM's age wouldn't not a problem. Despite their slightly older age, they perform as skillfully as the younger wrestling talents.
"Both great dudes. Even though they are slightly older than me, they got started so much earlier it seems, where they were on TV when I was probably still, I wouldn't say I was in the backyard but was probably not a trained professional wrestler at the time. Been watching them from [the] early TNA days. Ya, they are great... There is probably plenty of juice or gas left in their tanks," EC3 said.
Sabin and Shelly haven't posted any official comments on whether they're interested in joining WWE or AEW. It would be interesting to see if they do end up underneath Triple H's creative umbrella.
