A popular AEW star got injured at Full Gear 2024. However, he has now announced his return to the ring.
Big Boom AJ gained a lot of fame due to his TikTok videos where he and his son, Big Justice, post food reviews from Costco. They are fondly known as 'The Costco Guys.' Given their rising popularity and AJ's wrestling background, he signed with All Elite Wrestling a few weeks ago. Shortly after signing his contract. he was involved in a storyline feud with QT Marshall. The two men locked horns on the Zero Hour show for Full Gear.
Following the match, it was reported that the 48-year-old had broken his foot. Interestingly, it was also reported that he suffered an injury earlier in the day and kept it secret since he didn't want to disappoint the fans.
AJ made an appearance on the AEW All In Texas: Countdown To On Sale at Globe Life Field. He appeared with a cast on his foot and announced that it would come off in two weeks and he would return to the ring four weeks after that.

"This cast will be off in two weeks. I’ll be back in the ring 4 weeks after that, we will see everyone at the Hammerstein Ballroom," he said.
Sting also made his return at the same AEW event
The Countdown to On Sale turned out to be a memorable event for the fans who were able to catch it live. The entire event was streamed on YouTube, Facebook, and X (fka Twitter) and was made free to the public.
During the event, Sting made a return to predict that his close friend Darby Allin would become AEW World Champion in 2025. He also teased that he would make an appearance at All In next year. When fans asked him for one more match, he said he wouldn't be donning his wrestling boots again.
"You are world championship caliber," Stinger said to Allin. "I knew from the beginning. Sometime in 2025, I am predicting this is the future AEW World Champion right here."
It will be interesting to see if Darby Allin will win the World Championship next year, as per the Stinger's prediction.
