A wrestling veteran has demanded an apology from Tony Khan after recent comments from an AEW star. The star being discussed is Disco Inferno.
The former WCW star has often criticized AEW. In December 2023, he suggested that the Jacksonville-based promotion needed a restart as many storylines weren't as exciting as before. Responding to this comment, the AEW President called him an 'irrelevant parasite' on social media.
Now, Jon Moxley is trying to take control over AEW after the locker room hasn't made efforts to improve in the past couple of years. The Death Riders have been constantly attacking many stars and factions. The reigning AEW World Champion recently claimed that the promotion is completely restarting.
These comments from the One True King have apparently triggered Disco Inferno, as Tony Khan criticized the latter when the 56-year-old stated the same last year. The veteran then claimed that the AEW President owed him an apology.

"@TonyKhan, you owe me an apology for referring to me as an 'Irrelevant Parasite' for bringing this up 200,000 lost viewers ago... Unless Moxley is also an 'Irrelevant Parasite,'" Inferno wrote.
What did Disco Inferno say after Tony Khan called him 'an irrelevant parasite?'
After Tony Khan's brutal comments on social media, Inferno claimed that he entered the business from the bottom, while the AEW President entered the industry by starting a company.
While speaking on Keeping It 100 OFFICIAL, Disco Inferno also claimed that a company's owner shouldn't criticize this way.
"I paid my dues, I've gone up and down the roads, I've been in the ring and I wrestled during a period of time when wrestling was the hottest it's ever been... You bought your way into this business and you're gonna call me an irrelevant parasite? I did way more to make a name for myself in this business than just putting up a bunch of money and buying a company. It's very offensive... You're the head of a company. This is not behavior becoming of the head of a wrestling company," he said.
It remains to be seen if Tony apologizes to the 56-year-old veteran after he demanded it on social media.
