Tonight, Powerhouse Hobbs shocked the world by winning the Casino Gauntlet match match. He earned a world title shot for next week's Dynamite: Maximum Carnage. This was not an easy win for the 6 ft 1 in star as Jay White, 'Hangman' Adam Page, Adam Cole, Ricochet, Daniel Garcia and others were entrants in the match.
He surprised everyone by abruptly hitting a massive spinebuster on Kyle O'Reilly, which was enough for a three-count.

"Let it be told that Jon Moxley is the one that brought me to AEW. But next week, I plan on shocking the world. But not only that, I'm going to make Jon Moxley my b***h." [0:29-0:45]

Both men faced off in a title match in April 2024, when Moxley was the IWGP World Heavyweight Champion. In this match, Hobbs sustained the injury that kept him out for months. He now looks to get retribution.

Growing up, Enzo admired former world champions like AJ Styles, Will Ospreay, Bryan Danielson, Triple H, and Randy Orton for their finishing moves. As an adult, he started to appreciate their character work, as they juggled between heel and babyface gimmicks.
If allowed to produce one final storyline involving his idols, he would have Orton lock horns with John Cena, would be their one last big feud as both of them seem to be approaching the tail end of their careers.
