This week, a former WWE star returned on AEW's Saturday night show, Collision. Unfortunately, he suffered another defeat in a crucial trios match alongside his partners.
The former WWE star in question is Lance Archer. He wrestled his first match on Collision this week after losing in a trios bout on November 10, 2023. On Saturday, The Murderhawk Monster teamed up with The Righteous to challenge the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Champions, The Mogul Embassy.
Archer was accompanied to the ring by WWE Hall of Famer Jake "The Snake" Roberts. The Righteous and Archer squared off against Brian Cage, Bishop Kaun, and Toa Liona of The Mogul Embassy for the ROH World Six-Man Title on Collision.
After an action-packed trios encounter, The Murderhawk Monster and The Righteous failed to capture the coveted championship, as The Mogul Embassy reigned supreme.
At the 2023 Worlds End pay-per-view, Lance Archer competed in a battle royal for an opportunity to challenge the TNT Champion. Despite dominating the entire match, the 6 ft 8 in star failed to win. It will be interesting to see how Archer plans to bounce back from his recent losses.
