A 6ft 1in AEW name has shared a three-word message on social media amidst his ongoing television absence, which may have been directed at a member of The Elite. The star in question is Powerhouse Hobbs.

The Embodiment of Willpower is one of AEW's most promising competitors and has gained a significant fan-following courtesy of his dominant in-ring prowess. The 33-year-old star has been missing from action since the April 24, 2024, edition of Dynamite after sustaining a knee injury during his IWGP World Heavyweight Championship match against Jon Moxley.

Hobbs' recent social media posts indicate that he is gearing up for his in-ring comeback in AEW. The Don Callis Family member was also present backstage at Dynamite earlier this month, according to a report from Fightful Select.

Amid ongoing speculations regarding his return to the squared circle, Hobbs took to X/Twitter to share a photograph of himself with the TNT Championship - a title he had won by defeating Wardlow last year, and which he had defended against the likes of Rey Fenix, Christopher Daniels, Penta El Zero Miedo, and Silas Young before eventually dropping it back to Mr. Mayhem.

New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE

"I got next!" wrote Hobbs.

Hobbs' post seems to suggest his interest in pursuing the TNT Title - which is currently held by Jack Perry of The Elite - after returning to action in AEW. All members of The Elite hold gold right now, showcasing their dominance over AEW currently.

AEW's Powerhouse Hobbs made a bold claim about his spinebuster

Powerhouse Hobbs is easily one of the most physical performers in All Elite Wrestling. His ability to blend explosive stamina effortlessly with unparalleled power makes him one of the most dangerous competitors in the Jacksonville-based promotion.

One of Hobbs' signature maneuvers happens to be the Spinebuster, a move that has been used by legends like Batista, Triple H, and former All Elite Wrestling coach Arn Anderson. The former TNT Champion seemingly declared the superiority of his version of the Spinebuster in a post on X/Twitter earlier this month, writing:

"Don’t matter what show, still the best Spinebuster."

It remains to be seen when Powerhouse Hobbs will be brought back to All Elite programming.
