A current AEW star made a bold claim that Goldberg refused to sign with Tony Khan's promotion and made degrading comments about the promotion because he can't beat him.
The 6ft 8in star in question is EJ Nduka. EJ made his AEW debut in January 2023, when he was defeated by Konosuke Takeshita on an episode of Dark. The Judge also had a brief run on WWE NXT back in 2020. Before his All Elite debut last year, Nduka gained prominence during his time in MLW as well.
Furthermore, EJ Nduka has not competed in an AEW ring since his dark match on Collision back in October 2023. Meanwhile, The Judge addressed his issue with Bill Goldberg. The former WWE Universal Champion recently revealed that he turned down Tony Khan's offer in the past, calling his promotion, "Cheesy."
Bill also implied that signing with the Jacksonville-based promotion is not a 'viable' option for him. After Bill's degrading comments towards AEW, Nduka made a bold claim. The Judge took to 'X' social media platform to claim that the All Elite promotion is not a viable option for the 57-year-old legend because he can't beat him:
"Goldberg can't whoop me that's why it's not a "viable" option for him. I welcome violence."
Goldberg opens up on potential retirement match
Bill Goldberg expressed the desire to have a retirement match in WWE after his contract with the company was up last year. However, the former Universal Champion has put that thought on the "back burner" now as he revealed while speaking on 93.7 The Ticket recently:
"I'll be perfectly honest with you. I've kind of put that on the back burner. Right now, I've segued into dad, first and foremost, and husband, and car host. I'm just having fun at my garage. So, I really don't have a lot of time right now to dedicate to prepping for a retirement match."
Moreover, the 57-year-old legend's last match as of now happens to be Elimination Chamber 2022, where he was defeated by Roman Reigns. Only time will tell if he ever returns to the ring.
