The 8-time champion came out with Shane Taylor, as he is said to be the pride and joy of Shane Taylor Promotions. This was his first AEW appearance since November 25, 2023, when he took on Keith Lee.
On the other hand, The Rated-R Superstar recently reigned supreme against Griff Garrison after the latter accepted his open challenge last week. He has been looking to regain momentum after losing the TNT Championship to Christian Cage at Worlds End 2023.

Despite Lee Moriarty's and Shane Taylor's valiant efforts, Adam Copeland emerged victorious yet again, making the former tap out with his Grindhouse submission hold.
After the match, he had some words to say to his former best friend, Christian Cage. He wanted to remind The Patriarch that he had not forgotten about him and that he would come after him soon. It will be interesting to see what's next in the intriguing storyline. Will the Canadian icons lock horns again? Only time will tell.

Enzo is a Pro Wrestling journalist at Sportskeeda, reporting on AEW. He is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Multimedia Studies, which influenced his decision of taking up sports writing professionally, and has been an avid fan of the athletic theater since childhood. He believes readers deserve authentic and unique content and aims to report in a manner which pro wrestling fans can easily relate to.
Growing up, Enzo admired former world champions like AJ Styles, Will Ospreay, Bryan Danielson, Triple H, and Randy Orton for their finishing moves. As an adult, he started to appreciate their character work, as they juggled between heel and babyface gimmicks.
If allowed to produce one final storyline involving his idols, he would have Orton lock horns with John Cena, would be their one last big feud as both of them seem to be approaching the tail end of their careers.
Other than pro wrestling, Enzo enjoys keeping up with Basketball, Football, and Formula One. He also loves watching films, playing video games, and listening to music.
