An AEW star who has been out for three months due to a significant injury has teased his return to the promotion. Powerhouse Hobbs has not been in the ring since late April when he challenged Jon Moxley for the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship.
During the match, he sustained an injury but was still able to finish. It has also been noted that he required surgery, which pushed back the timeline for his return.
On X/Twitter, Powerhouse Hobbs posted a picture of his silhouette and a caption hinting at his potential comeback to AEW soon. Due to the nature of his injury, however, it is hard to predict when he'll make his in-ring return, as this depends on the progress during his recovery.
"Don’t call it a COME BACK," Hobbs tweeted.

What was the last update on the AEW star's injury?
Almost three months ago, Powerhouse Hobbs gave an update regarding his journey to fully recovering from his injury.
On X/Twitter, he revealed that he successfully completed his first week of physical therapy. Although there were some setbacks, he was able to power through and accomplish the goals they had for the session.
"First week of PT done with the USC legend @RNA_sports had some ups and downs but still battled through and crushed my goals #BigBlacknJacked #Monstar #TheBluePrint," the AEW star tweeted.
There have been no further updates regarding his injury recovery or whether progress has been going smoothly. As he has been hinting at his return, he could be on the right track to recovery, and his return may come in the next few months.
Hobbs will look to assume his major role in the Don Callis Family, seeing as its other members have been on a roll as of late. Kyle Fletcher is helping his best friend Will Ospreay feud with MJF, and Konosuke Takeshita is competing right now in NJPW's G1 Climax Tournament.
Their newest member, Trent Beretta, is also sidelined with a neck injury but has already undergone surgery.
