An absent AEW star recently shared a hilarious social media post featuring AJ Lee. The talent in question, none other than Danhausen, also claimed that CM Punk owes him some money.
Danhausen has been a part of AEW since making his debut in the promotion two years ago. However, he has not competed inside an All Elite ring since unsuccessfully participating in a Battle Royal for a future TNT Title shot during the Zero-Hour pre-show to Worlds End 2023.
The 34-year-old star has been performing prolifically in the independent circuit throughout this year across promotions such as GCW, The Wrestling Revolver, Glory Pro, and DEFY. At a recent convention he attended, Danhausen stumbled across what seemed to be a cardboard cut-out of AJ Lee.
Taking to his Instagram story, the star shared a picture with the aforementioned cut-out of the former WWE Divas Champion in a display of his trademark humor. Danhausen also claimed that Lee had mandated that her husband CM Punk had to fork over a hundred dollars to the AEW star.
A former WWE writer just went after JBL for his comments HERE
"Great to see @theajmendez (...) She said @cmpunk had to give Danhausen $100," wrote Danhausen.

Recent update on Danhausen's status in AEW
As mentioned previously, Danhausen has been missing from action in AEW for quite some time now.
A recent report from Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp claims that there was some correspondence between the company and the Michigan native in September, although there were no updates on any potential creative plans for the former Kid Gorgeous.
"There had been some contact between AEW and Danhausen in September, but I've not heard of any creative plans. Ultimately, he works there. So if they tell him to come to work, he will. He's never said or implied otherwise," said Sean Ross Sapp.
Danhausen most recently appeared at Glory Pro WrestlePocalypse earlier this month, wrestling Dak Draper in a losing effort. It remains to be seen when he might make his comeback to All Elite Wrestling.
