AEW star Adam Copeland has provided an update on his in-ring return to All Elite Wrestling. The Rated-R Superstar is a former two-time TNT Champion.

Earlier this year at the AEW Double or Nothing Pay-Per-View, Adam Copeland successfully defended his TNT Championship against Malakai Black in a Barbed Wire Cage Match. However, he was stripped of the title the following week on Dynamite due to suffering a broken tibia during the bout. Copeland jumped from the top of the cage on Malakai Black and landed on his feet which resulted in his injury.

In a recent chat on The Leafs Nation podcast, Adam Copeland seemingly acknowledged that jumping off from the cage was a mistake. However, The Rated-R Superstar clarified that he feels good and is ready to get back into the mix.

"My brain forgets I'm 51, but my body quickly reminded me, yeah, you just jumped from 21 feet, a**hole. That's technically three stories. You're 51, quit it. But I feel good. I'm ready to get back at it and to get busy again." [H/T: Fightful]

Adam Cole names Adam Copeland as his dream match in AEW

Adam Cole and Adam Copeland have been a part of WWE and AEW at the same time. However, both stars have never had the opportunity to wrestle each other. The former NXT Champion recently shared his desire to get in the ring with The Rated-R Superstar.

In a recent interview with Adrian Hernandez, Adam Cole named Adam Copeland as his dream match. Cole noted how the match is a possibility and would be a cool moment if he got to wrestle the WWE Hall of Famer.

“Oh my god, yeah, easily [Adam Copeland is on top of my dream match list]. Again, I never in a million years thought that I could step in the ring with Adam Copeland, and I think now it is certainly possible. So, as far as dream matches in AEW that I haven’t had — even dream matches in all of pro wrestling that I haven’t had — getting in the ring with Adam Copeland would be really cool.”

The fans will have to wait and see when All Elite Wrestling decides to bring back Adam Copeland to television.
