Adam Copeland is back in AEW. The wrestling legend suffered a fractured tibia in May and just returned with FTR at Saturday's Worlds End pay-per-view. With a major feud on the horizon, Copeland is focused on a bigger issue for now. The WWE Hall of Famer just issued emotional remarks ahead of Fight for the Fallen.

The Rated-R Superstar made his surprise return at Worlds End, linking up with Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler to target Jon Moxley and The Death Riders right after Mox retained the AEW World Championship in the main event. RatedFTR will now battle Moxley and his stablemates at Wednesday's Fight for the Fallen edition of Dynamite, which will raise money to assist victims of the recent Hurricane Helene in Western NC, where Copeland and FTR reside.

Hurricane Helene devastated the Blue Ridge Mountain region of North Carolina in late September. Remnants of the Category 4 storm dumped 14 inches of rain on Western NC over 72 hours, the kind of weather they never see. Helene took more than 230 lives across four states, with hundreds of structures destroyed. All of North Carolina has been seen as Flair Country for decades, and the state has been a hotbed for the industry. The wrestling world immediately began donating to relief efforts in Copeland's adopted hometown, and Tony Khan was publicly praised for his help.

Asheville is still dealing with significant fallout from Helene, more than other impacted regions. In Copeland's new interview with Sports Illustrated, it was noted that a boil water advisory in Asheville was just lifted before the holidays, seen as a Christmas miracle by locals. The former Edge of WWE recalled how it was when he no longer had to pour a gallon of water in the toilet to flush it and when he was able to brush his teeth using the sink.

A top AEW star just called one of his colleagues 'spoiled' and 'narcissistic' HERE.

"It's definitely eye opening when you're at ground zero of something like that and how long it affects [your life] and how long everything takes to get back to some semblance of normalcy. To brush my teeth for the first time without bottled water, I was like, ‘Whoa! I can use the taps? This is awesome!’ You know, you take it for granted," Adam Copeland said.

Copeland also touched on how things are going as people try to get back to some kind of normal life. The father-of-two recalled his younger daughter wishing life could go back to how it was before Hurricane Helene.

"I was talking to my youngest and she said, 'Dad, I just really wish things would go back to the way they were before the hurricane.' You forget the emotional toll that it takes on kids because they're used to patterns and trying to keep structure," Adam Copeland said.

Copeland will make his in-ring return on Wednesday's Fight for the Fallen edition of AEW Dynamite. He will team with Wheeler and Harwood to face Moxley, Wheeler Yuta, and Claudio Castagnoli.
