AEW star Adam Copeland was mentioned in a heated argument on tonight's episode of RAW. He is a former WWE Superstar who made a huge name for himself in the global sports entertainment juggernaut.
The Rated-R Superstar suffered a serious neck injury in 2011 and announced his retirement from pro wrestling. However, after nine years away, he had another blockbuster run in the company. His contract expired in 2023, and he became All Elite in October 2023. Adam Copeland was on a great run in the Jacksonville-based promotion but has been sidelined since May 2024 after suffering a fractured tibia.
Adam Copeland was mentioned on RAW tonight during The New Day's 10th-anniversary celebration on the show. Big E has been out with a neck injury since March 2022. He returned tonight and reunited with Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods for the celebration. The active New Day members have been in a major quarrel for the last couple of months as both the stars are frustrated with each other.
On RAW, Woods and Kingston claimed that Big E doesn't care about them. He didn't even need surgery for his neck and should return to WWE, similar to stars who came back despite major neck injuries. They then named Kurt Angle, Stone Cold Steve Austin, and Edge as some examples. In the end, The New Day turned on Big E and excluded him from the group.
It remains to be seen what is next for The New Day following the recent events.
