Adam Copeland (fka Edge) provides update on his injury amid AEW absence

Adam Copeland (fka Edge) has provided an update on his injury amid his AEW absence. The former WWE star had suffered a serious injury at Double or Nothing pay-per-view.

Copeland fractured his tibia when he faced Malakai Black in a Barbed Wire Steel Cage match for the AEW TNT Championship. The injury happened after The Rated-R Superstar failed to execute a jump from the top of the cage. Despite getting injured, he finished and even won the contest. It was later revealed that he was stripped of his TNT title by The Young Bucks.

Adam Copeland has now taken to Instagram to give his fans a positive update about his injury and jokingly said that he was on the verge of becoming Robocop.

“The splint is off! More scars! 5 more screws and another plate. I’m becoming Robocop.”

Copeland will now hope that his injury heals soon and that he can get back to doing what he loves as soon as possible.

Jeff Jarrett speaks about Adam Copeland’s injury

WWE Hall of Famer Jeff Jarrett has seen a lot in his wrestling career, and he has given his thoughts on Adam Copeland’s injury.

While speaking to Bill Apter of Sportskeeda Wrestling, Jeff alluded to how it was a game on milli-inches.

"It's the reality of professional wrestling, especially in this day and age with the high-risk, high-reward maneuvers that go with the industry and you just kinda look at Adam jumping off the top of the cage. Our business is in my opinion literally a game of not just inches but milli-inches. I'm not gonna speak for him, I'm not even gonna speak about this specific deal but it comes with the territory. You're gonna get in a steel cage match. You signed up for the potential of injury," he said.

It will be interesting to see how Adam Copeland makes his comeback, given that he had his TNT title stripped from him.
