Adam Copeland has been out of action after fracturing his tibia at Double or Nothing. The Rated-R Superstar has now provided an update on his return to AEW.

Adam Copeland has been on a roll since joining AEW last October. After a long feud with his former best friend Christian Cage, Copeland won the TNT Championship and established himself as a fighting champion by issuing open challenges regularly.

However, his run abruptly ended at AEW Double or Nothing 2024, where he faced Malakai Black in a Barbed Wire Steel Cage match. During the bout, he went for a dive off the top of the cage and landed awkwardly. Although he retained the title, he was ruled out of action due to a broken tibia.

In a recent interview with amNewYork Metro, Copeland said that his leg feels good now but wasn't fully healed.

Former WWE writer buries Judgment Day HERE

"It feels good, it still doesn’t have the full strength back yet. The explosion isn’t there, the full mobility isn't back yet," Copeland said. "I was able to get in the ring and kind of roll around a little bit just to see where it’s at. I felt some of the deficiency, it still isn’t up to it but it is in the right direction." [H/T: AMNY]

Adam Copeland on whether he will team with up Beth Phoenix in AEW

Adam Copeland and Beth Phoenix first formed a tag team in WWE. Since Copeland joined AEW, fans have been waiting for this reunion to happen in Tony Khan's promotion but it so far hasn't.

During the same interview with amNewYork Metro, Copeland was asked about the possibility of teaming up with his wife Beth Phoenix in AEW. The WWE Hall of Famer also said that they were thinking of starting a finishing school alongside FTR.

"One thing we have talked about is maybe starting a type of finishing school, where, if there are people within the industry that feel like they’re just missing a little something, we’ll come on down to Asheville. Because you got FTR, you got me, and you got Beth Phoenix," Adam Copeland said. [H/T: EWrestling News]

It will be interesting to see if Beth Phoenix will also show up in AEW one day to team up with her husband.
