AEW has just announced MJF's return match which will take place next week on Dynamite as the opening contest of the night. They even revealed this will be commercial-free. This will be against RUSH.

For the second straight week, the former AEW World Champion came to blows with El Torro Blanco. Last week, the luchador interrupted Friedman during his promo with some words of his own, as he claimed that he was receiving preferential treatment from the promotion.

RUSH has not been one to shy away from physicality, and last week, the entire locker room witnessed this, as security had to come out to pull both men away from each other.

It was the same story tonight but this time, MJF picked up a fight with him. Both men ended up brawling backstage, where more members of the locker room and security had to pull them apart.

Moments later, the commentary team revealed that the two would finally have the chance to go at it within the confines of the ring, as they will kick off next week's episode of AEW Dynamite. The match will also be commercial-free for all those watching at home.

This will be MJF's first match since Worlds End in December, where he lost his AEW World Championship. It remains to be seen how he'll perform in the ring, having missed five and a half months of in-ring action.
