An AEW executive was attacked backstage on Fright Night Dynamite. The authority figure being discussed is Christopher Daniels.

Jon Moxley and his faction continued to cause chaos this week, as they want to restore order in the Jacksonville-based promotion. So far, they have targeted Dark Order, Top Flight, Private Party, Daniel Garcia, and Orange Cassidy, among many other stars. They have managed to oppress the entire locker room, unlike the Elite, who unsuccessfully tried to take control of the promotion several months ago.

The Young Bucks misused their powers as EVPs, so Tony Khan introduced Christopher Daniels as interim EVP in May. Earlier tonight, Matthews and Nicholas Jackson lost their AEW World Tag Team Championship to Private Party. They immediately packed up and claimed they would be working from home as AEW had become too chaotic.

Christopher Daniels tried to stop them, but the Young Bucks left the arena. However, they left their long-time friend Brandon Cutler behind. Both he and Daniels were attacked but Cutler took the bigger hit. While the latter was immediately attacked by Jon Moxley's faction backstage, the Lunatic Fringe manhandled Daniels when the interim EVP tried to stop them. Jon Moxley grabbed Daniels by his neck as Claudio Castagnoli hurt Brandon's hand.

It will be interesting to see who will be the evil faction's next target, and if Christopher Daniels will take any action against them.
