The AEW World Championship will be on the line in a massive multi-person match at Worlds End 2024. One of the contenders for the belt - Hangman Page - received a rather interesting offer from an All Elite authority figure on the latest episode of Dynamite.
Days ahead of the upcoming pay-per-view, on Dynamite on 34th Street, AEW World Champion Jon Moxley suffered a beatdown at the hands of Orange Cassidy, Jay White and Adam Page - the three men who are looking to strip The One True King of his title in a four-way match this Saturday. The Hangman reiterated his intention during a backstage interview on the Wednesday night show, before being approached by industry veteran Christopher Daniels.
The Interim EVP offered Page his help at Worlds End, leading the latter to ask why he would need the aid of an "ineffectual office stooge." Daniels alerted The Cowboy that his opponents - White, Cassidy, Moxley - could rely on reinforcements from The Bang Bang Gang, The Conglomeration, and The Death Riders, whereas Page had no backup for himself. CD empathized with Page's isolation in the locker-room, bringing up the absence of his own former teammates, SCU and Matt Sydal.
The Fallen Angel reminded the Virginia native that he had known him for fifteen years, and that the two were among AEW's earliest signees. Daniels reiterated that he knew Page better than the latter was willing to admit, and offered once again to be there for him at Worlds End as a friend.
It remains to be seen if Hangman Page will be able to reclaim the All Elite Wrestling World Championship on December 28.
