AEW Collision's ratings sank as they clashed with Money In The Bank 2024. Both the shows went head to head last Saturday.

Money in the Bank Premium Live Event was a spectacular show last week. Two chaotic ladder matches and unpredictable world championship matches kept the audience on their feet. Also, John Cena made his surprise return, only to announce his retirement tour next year. This event went head-to-head for two hours with AEW Collision on Saturday.

Collision had a strong show last week as MJF, who had just turned heel on Daniel Garcia, opened the episode with an incredible promo. Fans also saw the return of Marko Stunt, who answered Jack Perry's open challenge for the TNT Championship.

The total viewership for the July 6, 2024 episode of Collision was 306,000 and was rated 0.08 among the 18-49 demographics. This is much lower than last week, as the previous episode had garnered 422,000 average audience and was rated 0.12.

Also, this edition of Collision was the second-lowest-rated show in history, with the first being on January 27, 2024, when the show went head-to-head with Royal Rumble. The latter show had 300,000 average viewers and was rated 0.06.

The July 6 episode show also saw 'Hangman' Adam Page defeat Jay White and make his way into the final against Bryan Danielson in the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament. The duo will face each other in the upcoming edition of AEW Dynamite.

It will be interesting to see if the Collision ratings bounce back next week and what steps AEW President Tony Khan takes to make sure it does.
