Moments ago, AEW reported that a backstage incident had occurred involving Hangman Page. They have now confirmed the situation and have posted footage showing the incident.

This began when Renee Paquette approached Jeff Jarrett following his main event bout with Bryan Danielson. She then asked him if he felt that Bryan was now ready for his match at AEW All In against Swerve Strickland for the AEW World Championship.

Just as Jarrett was answering the question, he was blindsided by Hangman, who had a bone to pick with him as he felt that people got in his way of trying to fight Swerve Strickland at All In. During the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament final, Jeff Jarrett was involved in his match with Bryan as he wanted a fair fight. Danielson ended up winning the tournament, much to Hangman Page's dismay.

Jay Lethal who witnessed the blindside attack came to his friend's aid and he took the fight to Hangman Page as well.

As the brawl continued, Mariah May and Toni Storm, who were also continuing their brawl from earlier tonight, came into the picture. The backstage area ended up being a chaotic sight of five different stars trying to beat up one another, with several members of the security team trying to separate them.

Check out the entire footage below:

Fans now have to wait till next week to see what happens on AEW Dynamite and whether Hangman will be able to let go of his obsession with Swerve and his world title.
