AEW drops a mysterious clip to tease blockbuster arrival of a wrestler

AEW Collision saw a teaser of a new blockbuster arrival. If this is who fans think it is, then it could be one of the best signings for Tony Khan.

While the entire wrestling world was still reeling from John Cena’s retirement announcement, AEW served up its own version of events to keep the fans invested in their product. On Collision, there was a very short clip of a teaser, stating that a new star would be arriving soon.

It showed a grey screen with a computer language writing hologram and then a man running into what looked like a portal and going into a time warp. After that, there was a brief sighting of a wrestler with what looked like a mask.

Tony Khan and his team have done well to leave fans to speculate as to who the star could be. It could be a former WWE star or someone from the independent scene. Whoever it might be, AEW has done a great job of keeping the identity a secret.

It will be interesting to see what will happen in the coming weeks and months and how the other teasers will add up to the one that was shown on Collision.
